The Perfect Speech Structure

• The Introduction (30 seconds): Introduce yourself and how you know the bride. Keep it brief—the speech isn't about you.

Things to Avoid

Never mention ex-boyfriends, inside jokes that nobody else understands, or embarrassing stories that cross the line from funny to humiliating. Keep it around 3 to 4 minutes max.
